  • 6 slices white bread
  • 50 g butter flakes
  • mustard
  • 125 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 herring fillets, smoked
  • paprika
  • parsley

Remove crust from bread slices. Butter lightly then spread with mustard.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and cover with the herring fillets. Add more grated cheese over the herring.
Top with butter flakes and dust with paprika.
Bake in the oven or under the grill.
Garnish with parsley.
